About Us
Before Sayulita became the vibrant beach town it is today, it was a quiet fishing village filled with dirt roads, palm trees, open doors, and familiar faces.
In the early 1980s, Adrienne Adams — lovingly known as Tia Adriana — arrived in Sayulita and fell in love with its simplicity, its ocean, and its people.
What began as a humble family home slowly became a place to welcome friends, family, surfers, and travelers passing through town. Over time, that home grew into one of Sayulita’s first hotels.
Through the years, the building has changed, the town has grown, and the way people travel has evolved. Today, Sayulita Central offers a more independent stay with self check-in and remote guest support — but the spirit of the hotel remains rooted in the same family story.
The hotel is now cared for by Tia Adriana’s granddaughters, who continue to preserve its history while adapting it for today’s travelers.
Here, you won’t find a traditional front desk experience. Instead, you’ll find a simple, comfortable, walkable stay in the heart of town — inside a historic building that still carries the charm and character of old Sayulita.
With love,
La Familia de Tia Adriana
